베를린에 거주 및 활동하고 있는 독일의 현대미술가 안젤름 라일리이 대표적인 프랑스 럭셔리 브랜드 크리스챤 디올과의 콜라보레이션 작업을 선보인다. 오는 12월 1일부터 4일까지 열리는 아트 바젤 마이애미를 위해 특별히 제작된 작가의 액세서리, 화장품 및 핸드백들은 아트페어 기간 동안 마이애미 디자인 지구 중심에 위치한 디올 팝업 부띠크에서 판매될 예정이다. 안젤름 라일리은 이번 작업에서 밝은 메탈릭과 형광색을 주로 사용함과 동시에 자신의 트레이드마크 중 하나인 카무플라주(위장 패턴)를 차용하였다. 약 2주간 지속되는 이번 행사에서는 작가가 디올 컬력션을 위해 특별히 제작한 페인팅들 또한 전시될 예정이다.

Lives and works in Berlin, German contemporary artist Anselm Reyle has collaborated with a major French fashion brand, Christian Dior. In honor of Art Basel Miami, which opens from Dec 1 to 4 this year, a collection of specially designed accessories, cosmetics and handbags by the artist will be displayed in a pop-up Dior boutique in the heart of Miami’s Design District. Along with his signature bright metallic and fluorescent color, Reyle has also adapted camouflage, one of his trademarks, to this line. Scheduled to last for about two weeks, this event will also feature specially created paintings for the collaboration.
