국제갤러리의 양혜규와 우고 론디노네는 독일 라이프치히에 위치한 현대미술갤러리 (Galerie fur Zeitgenoessische Kunst)에서 개최되는 두 전시 와 에 참여한다. 2017년 8월 20일까지 열리는 전에는 미술관의 컬렉션을 선보이면서 작품에 대한 다양한 해석을 유도하는 동시에 미술관의 컬렉션 목록을 정리할 수 있는 다양한 방식들을 제시한다. 이 전시는 2018년 1월 14일까지 개최되는 작가 Karin Sander의 전시프로젝트 로 이어진다. 본 기관에서 소장하고 있는 작품들의 작가들을 초청하여 관객이 ‘들을’ 수 있도록 작품들을 재탄생시킨 이 프로젝트는 전시에 참여하는 약 150명의 작가 이름이 빈 전시공간의 흰 벽에 숫자와 함께 표기되어, 방문자가 오디오 가이드를 사용하여 작품을 선택하여 들을 수 있게 하였다. 관객의 머릿속에서 다양한 방식으로 상상되는 이 작품들은 작품의 부재에도 불구하고 거대한 존재감을 드러낸다. 

Haegue Yang and Ugo Rondinone are participating in two exhibitions held at the Galerie fur Zeitgenoessiche Kunst Leipzig in Germany, The Present Order – Part Two and Karin Sander: ZEIGEN. An audio tour through the collection of the GfZK Leipzig. The Present Order, which is a showcase of the museum’s collection and will be held until August 20, issues an invitation to confront the various interpretations that are condensed into a work of art and presents numerous possibilities of ordering museum inventories. The exhibition also expands on the theme of forms of presentation in museums which leads to ZEIGEN. An audio tour, an exhibition project by the artist Karin Sander that will remain open until January 14, 2018. For this project, she invited artists whose works are featured in the collection of the institution, with the aim of translating their own work into something audible for the museum’s visitors. The names of the approximately 150 participating artists are installed on the white walls of the otherwise “empty” exhibition space, along with a number, allowing visitors to select individual contributions using an audio guide. The works, imagined in various ways, arise inside the heads of the visitors, gaining an enormous presence in spite of their physical absence.
