전시개요:
아트클럽1536에서 <아트 온 유어 월 The Art on Your Wall>전시를 개최한다. 이번 전시에서는 국제갤러리 전속 작가인 강임윤, 이혜림을 포함하여 6명의 작가들이 참여한다. 이번 전시는 19세기 후반 예술가의 장인 정신을 되찾기 위해 영국의 예술가 윌리엄 모리스와 사회 비평가 존 러스킨이 중심이 되어 진행했던 Arts & Crafts 운동에서 영향을 받아 기획되었다. 전시에 참여하는 작가들은 특별히 제작한 리미티드 에디션 벽지 작품을 선보이면서, Arts & Crafts 운동을 현대적으로 재해석한다. 본 전시는 5월 24일에 시작하여 6월 23일까지 계속된다.

artclub1563 is pleased to present its exhibition, The Art on Your Wall, from May 24th to June 23rd 2012. The exhibition takes its inspiration from the Arts and Crafts Movement, which was led by an artist William Morris and a social critic John Ruskin in the late 19th century England. With wall paper artworks specially commissioned to 6 contemporary artists, the current exhibition explores the modern reinterpretation of the Art & Cratfs movement.
